Watch and listen to Bahamian recording artist, Terneille Burrows, aka TaDa, and others speak out on issues affecting Bahamian artists today. A video production by Bahamas Entertainment TV (BETV) sparked after Burrows' recent press statement called, Big Acts, Big Budgets... bad for Bahamian Artists??

Also featured in this video is Margaret Glynatsis "Believe";  producer Ronald Sutherland, "Overlord";  and Ronaldo Dawkins, "Dirty Deeds" from All Out Entertainment.  Also commenting is Leonie Brown, an artist visiting from the UK who feels that Bahamian talent equals that of any other location in the world and should be respected.

The Bahamian artists seen here discuss challenges they face in the local and global music arena, from respect as artists to compensation for their performances. The artists are making a plea for Bahamian artists to support one another; they ask for support from the general public and Bahamian media; and  support from industry professionals throughout the world.

Burrows also stresses that  too many Bahamians get caught up on the issue of  "what's Bahamian music" and instead we should start supporting our artists ' who are Bahamian' and are producing positive music that is up to standards.  If support is given, there is no reason Bahamian artists cannot succeed like those greats from the past such at T-Connection, Johnny Kemp, the Bahamen etc. and work full time at their craft.
