PUDGY (Short Film 15mins)
Bahamas
A delightfully campy parable that touches on the complexities of our hearts and lives in this modern world. (Dr. Allen) adds his young granddaughter (Morganne Bethel) to the story he tells her about a spunky little fish named Pudgy (Michelle Moore). Too cocky for his own good, Pudgy gets beached upon the real Bahamian shore and is forced to endure humorous encounters with passers-by from the modern world as he desperately tries to get their attention, before being saved at the brink of death. The lively and spontaneous Dr. Allen delivers insightful soliloquies about Pudgy’s calamity, rousing us to listen to our hearts to let our own Pudgy live, and jumps into a festive local parade and a beach dance to the “Pudgy Theme” bringing Bahamian spirit to the big screen. Beautifully filmed in High Definition.
Made for general audiences.
