Bahamas' Top Executives to Weigh in on Being Their Own Boss

Nassau, Bahamas -
Three
of the nation's best-known entrepreneurs will share tips for starting, growing
and maintaining a business in The Bahamas when Rotaract Club of East Nassau
presents its second annual ‘
I Am My Own
Boss’ panel and discussion. The leading real estate, healthcare and finance
executives will weigh in on the secrets of being your own boss Thursday, October 3 at the Nassau Yacht Club, East Bay Street. The
event is open to the public.
"The
main goal of this panel series is to inspire our Rotaract club members and
other guests to follow their career dreams. It is especially vital to provide valuable
insight on the hardships and rewards involved with becoming their own
boss," Rotaract President Taran Mackey said.
President
and Senior Appraiser of Bahamas Realty and Past Assistant District Governor of
Rotary in The Bahamas Robin Brownrigg, will address the Rotaract club as a
panel member at the event. As a licensed
broker, certified appraiser, senior valuer and licensed government appraiser,
Brownrigg is prepared to share his extensive knowledge and experiences with
leadership and success with the group.
Barry
Rassin, CEO and chair of Doctors Hospital Health System in the Bahamas
is also included in the discussion panel. Rassin is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives,
and past chair of the Bahamas Quality Council, and honorary president of the
Star of the Bahamas Charity Guide. A member of Rotary since the 1980's, he has
served his club in many capacities including district governor, district
trainer, and committee chair.
President
and Founder of CFAL and President of The Nassau Guardian media group, Anthony
Ferguson will be the third panelist for the evening. With more than 24 years of
experience in the investment industry, panel discussion guests can look to be
enlightened and encouraged to become their own boss.
Public
Relations professional and President of Diane Phillips and Associates, Diane
Phillips, will moderate the evening's event. Phillips served as a panelist at
last year's panel and discussion. There is no charge to attend the event that
starts at 6pm.
