The
romantic journey has officially began for the 16 lucky couples who will
be tying the knot throughout the island of the Bahamas as winner of
Bahamas 16 Islands 16 Weddings One Priceless Day Celebration promotion.
The
celebrations started with a special welcome dinner at the
Sapodilla Restaurant, Nassau Bahamas
on Tuesday evening with the couple and their guest feted to fine Bahamas
cuisines and entertainment.
In welcoming the group Minister of Tourism Hon. Obie Wilchcombe told the visitors
"you are going
to see some beautiful islands, you are going to see some beautiful
waters and you are going to engage with some beautiful people. All
intending to ensure that you understand why we say Its Better in the
Bahamas."
The reception dinner was sponsored by the Out Island Promotion Board which represents 13 of the 16 participating island.
The couples will get married on 16 different island on Friday January 16 at 1600 hours
