Inter-Sessional meetings allow Conference Heads and other stakeholders to discuss progress made and challenges faced on matters of mutual interest related to CARICOM, and serve as an opportunity to engage representatives from the international community and civil society.
The 31st Inter-Sessional Meeting will be chaired by the Prime Minister of Barbados, the Hon. Mia Mottley, who assumed chairmanship of the Conference for the six-month period commencing 1 January 2020.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Hon. K. Peter Turnquest, will act as Prime Minister in the Prime Minister’s absence.
Prime Minister Minnis returns to The Bahamas on Thursday 20 February 2020.
