Tips to improve your life and your relationships

Socrates once said, βAn unexamined
life is not worth living.β An unexamined life will never reach
its full potential because faults will not be seen and adjustments not
made. Throughout the scriptures persons are called to examine
their current state for improvement. When persons are challenged
to improve their quality of life it is often thought of as improvement
in the material possession owned, but true quality enchantment is
character
development. Practices of the following will, without doubt, enhance
your life.
John 10:10
1. Work on
your most obvious fault. Luke 6:41
2. Own your
feelings. Proverbs 25:28
3. Stop blaming
others for your actions or reactions.
4. Do not
act on all of your thoughts.
5. Handle
your pass appropriately. Phil. 3:13

6. Examine
your friends/ associates. Proverbs 22:24
7. Expect
disappointments β but manage them.
Proverbs 13:12
8. Do not
live in the cesspool of negative emotions. Pro. 17:22
9. Practice
kindness
10. Be forgiving
without conditions
11. Improve
yourself
12. Limit
association with those who find joy in talking about
negatively about others. Proverbs 17:9; 16:28
13. Do not
take on the offenses or negative emotions of others.
Pro. 12:25; 14:30
14. Engage
in a wholesome recreation.
15. Guard
your heart against offenses. Proverbs 4:23; 15:13
16. Set boundaries
for others to interact with you.
17. Keep yourself
humble.
