NEWS ITEM ON TROPICAL STORM BILL ISSUED BY THE BAHAMAS DEPARTMENT OF METEOROLOGY FORECAST OFFICE AT 6 AM EDT, TUESDAY 15THJUNE 2021.

...EXPECTED TO BE A SHORT-LIVED TROPICAL STORM...
AT 5 AM EDT, THE CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM BILL WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 38.5° NORTH AND LONGITUDE 67.2° WEST,OR 240 MILES SOUTHEAST OF NANTUCKET MASSACHUSETTS OR ABOUT 460 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF HALIFAX NOVA SCOTIA.
BILL IS MOVING TOWARD RAPIDLY TOWARD THE NORTHEAST NEAR 31 MPH, AND THIS GENERAL MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 50 MILES PER HOUR WITH HIGHER GUSTS. LITTLE CHANGE IN STRENGTH IS EXPECTED TODAY, FOLLOWED BY A GRADUAL WEAKENING TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING WHEN BILL WILL BE MOVING OVER COLDER WATER.
