Freeport, Grand Bahama - An Earthquake in Haiti Relief Drive in support of the victims
of the disaster in Haiti has been launched by the
support staff of Freeport Container Port (FCP), Freeport Harbour Company (FHC),
Grand Bahama Airport Company (GBAC) and MSC Bahamas.
‘We Are Our Brother’s Keepers’ is the theme of the drive
that is soliciting non-perishable goods, toiletries, clothing, shoes, and water
throughout the island and is being coordinated by the employees and the Human
Resources Department.
“Our
organization is making a step in support of the Haiti Relief effort. We will partner with MSC Bahamas Ltd. to ship
a 40’ container of relief items to Haiti.
“To
this end, we are asking for the business
community’s support, indeed the support of the entire Grand Bahama community,” said a spokesman of the Human Resources
Department.
