Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - The latest accolades for Flying Fish are from Caribbean Journal which has placed the restaurant at number 6 out ouf 50 of the Best Restaurants in the Caribbean.
The popular publication writes, "This eatery in Freeport might just be the single-biggest reason to visit the island of Grand Bahama. Chef Tim Tibbitts has cultivated one of the Caribbean’s most creative menus, with dishes like beef and rum cured wahoo tartare and crispy skin snapper, to name a few."
"We are extremely happy about this placement among great Caribbean restaurants," said Chef Tibbitts in response to the rating. "This is our 3rd year in a row making it onto this list, first at #9, then #8 and now #6 is a great accomplishment and shows our steady growth. We're really proud of our staff for coming to work every day ready and their willingness to give 100% plus. We have done this together and we are all so proud."
