BPL starting power restoration in the Family Islands

Bahamas Power and Light have advised via their Facebook page that they have started restoration of power and have provided a Family Island Update:

"Our crew are already getting to work in areas where it's safe!

Long Island- Restoration underway

Rum Cay- Power On

Cat Island-Power On in Northern end of the island. Crews are moving South

Long Cay-Power On

Crooked Island-Power on

Mayaguana- Power on

Andros- Power on in South Andros only

Eleuthera- Supply Off

Great Harbour Cay- Supply off

Abaco- supply off

Inagua-Supply Off

Ragged Island-Supply Off

Exuma- Supply Off

Eleuthera-Supply off

Acklins- Supply off

Please remember, we will work safely to get your power on."
