The NAGB Sunday Chamber Music Series presents:"Sine Nomine" on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at 3pm at the NAGB. The Sine Nomine singers were formed in 2002 by JoAnne Connaughton and they very quickly established themselves into an eight voice harmony. The singers are Bonny Byfield, Cara Christie, Pia Farmer, Undo Osborn, Cairo Roche, Bill Eyk, Felipe Itturalde & Carlos Thomas. Six of these singers are original members.

The group performs several times a year in concert and sings on request for private functions and are especially sought after during Lent, Advent and Christmas. Their repertoire ranges from beautiful Early Music (i.e.Medieval to Renaissance to early Baroque Music) to lighter, close harmony pieces and some Bahamian, Brazilian and English folk songs. They specialize in polyphonic music and they perform both sacred and secular music. They enjoyed a successful tour in the U.K. in 2003 where the group was welcomed to perform in various ancient castles and churches.
