The Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation (BREEF) is looking for a dynamic person to join our team as an OFFICE MANAGER. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills with excellent follow through.

The office manager will organize, coordinate and supervise all administrative activities including general accounting and HR that facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the BREEF office. The candidate will be based in New Providence and will work full-time with our team of committed staff to fulfill BREEF’s mission. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement administrative systems, company policy and procedures.

· General accounting: manage office finances, including payroll and grant administration.

· Procurement, maintenance and repair of office supplies and equipment.

· General Human Resource functions including staff recruitment, training, and supervision.

· Participate in BREEF’s strategic planning process.

· Write and review reports and deliver presentations.

· Provide support for BREEF’s educational programmes and fundraising activities.

· Respond to customer enquiries.

Eligibility Criteria:

· Bachelor’s degree in Bus Admin or related field with 1-2 yrs experience

· Confidential, honest, reliable and service-oriented

· Excellent oral communication, writing and organizational skills

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills

· Ability to use a range of office software

· Must have own transportation

· Ability to swim is an asset but is not a requirement
