Scholarships in Japan Available to Bahamians

The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
(MEXT) has continued to offer the Research (Graduate) Scholarship to Bahamians for the academic year 2014 which is
tenable only in Japan. The scholarships cover tuition fees, flights to and from Japan and provide a monthly allowance.

Japanese language ability is highly valued at the selection stage although it is not a requirement. Successful applicants
must be willing to study the Japanese language before and after arriving in Japan.
Examinations and interviews will be conducted in The Bahamas in June, 2013.

application is June 7, 2013. Applications should be sent to the Embassy using the address below. Only shortlisted
