Nassau: Injured male pedestrian dies in hospital

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are investigating a traffic accident that occurred on Friday 16th May 2014, that has left a male pedestrian dead.  According to reports, shortly before 12:00 noon, an adult male was crossing the JFK thoroughfare, when he was struck by a 2004 Nissan Almera vehicle driven by a male driver.

The male victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died in hospital early this morning. (Saturday 17th May 2014)

The adult male driver did not suffer any injuries and is assisting police with their investigations. Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding this accident or any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
