Nassau woman found shot to death in vehicle

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in investigating a shooting incident that has left a woman dead on Sunday 18th May 2014.
According to reports, shortly after 7:00am, police received a report of a woman found dead at an area known as the Bonefish Pond located a quarter of a mile through an unpaved road off Cowpen Road. Police arrived on the scene and found the lifeless body of a woman in the passenger seat of a Honda accord vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. EMS personnel pronounced the woman dead at the scene
Investigations are ongoing.
POLICE are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any of this latest homicide or any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
