Ross University Bahamas celebrates 1 year anniversary

Freeport,
Grand Bahama Island - Ross University celebrated the one year anniversary of
their Bahamas clinical site recently. The site opened for its first day of
school on January 12th, 2009.
The staff
and faculty held a celebration dinner in December at Seahorse Plaza and remarks
were made by the Dean of the Ross University School of Medicine, Dr.
Mary Coleman.

Ross University's internal
consultant/regional director, DeVry University
handed out the certificates and gifts to
staff and faculty who had been there at least one full year, and the evening
ended with cake and a Power Point presentation of photographs highlighting their past
year.

The longest standing employee at Ross Bahamas is Mary Cooper, Business Operations Manager, who was hired in September 2008. Her certificate was handed out by Ann Bergen-Taylor.

Ross University
was
founded in 1978 and is a provider of medical and veterinary education
offering doctor of medicine and doctor of veterinary medicine degree
programs. The School of Medicine is located in Dominica, West Indies,
and the Freeport, Grand Bahama campus recently opened in January 2009.
The School of Veterinary Medicine is located in St. Kitts. Ross
University's administrative offices are located in North Brunswick,
NJ. Ross University has more than 9,000 alumni with M.D. and D.V.M.
