Nassau, The Bahamas   – With the winter season officially underway, The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort, Nassau, The Bahamas, is kicking off the second year of its annual coat drive in support of the One Warm Coat Organization and its “Warm Coats Warm Hearts” drive. Guests who donate their coats will receive a voucher for a free night on their next visit to the resort.

“Just as last winter, we expect many travelers to trade the snow and cold weather for the warm, sun-kissed beaches of Nassau,” said Andrew Neubauer, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort, “and almost all those travelers will walk through our doors with bulky coats that they won’t need in Nassau, so we’re happy to take them from our guests by donating them toward such a good cause – not to mention, our guests will receive a free night stay on a future visit as our way of saying ‘ thank you’!”

Upon check-in, guests will have the option to leave their winter coat with one of the resort’s guest service agents. All guests who leave behind their winter coat will automatically receive a voucher good for one free night on their next visit to the resort (limit of two vouchers per room). The drive will run through March 19, 2010, which marks the last day of winter. The coats will then be shipped to One Warm Coat, which provides warm coats to people in need, free of charge, so that they can live productive lives year round.
