Youth Football Evaluation Days - Grand Bahama Island:

Friday, July 6, 2007:   5pm – 8pm

Saturday, July 7, 2007:   2pm - 5pm

Grand Bahama Sports Complex

As of the first Evaluation Day, it is projected that the No. 1 Draft Pick may be either Andrew Rahming or Michael McGregor!   They are too close to call who will be first.   It will depend on whether the first team to pick will want a wide receiver/running back or a quarterback.

This is from the first evaluation.   There are some players out there ready to challenge Rahming and McGregor for the No. 1 spot.

Roberto Taylor said that he is going to be working out and preparing to test again with the belief that he will improve his Draft position.   Some players who did not attend the Evaluation Day spoke to Commissioner Anthony and said they will be the No. 1 pick.   Daniel Pratt, Lamar Coverley, and Khambrel Seymour are a few of the eligible players preparing for Evaluation Days on July 6 and 7.

The excitement is building up and the young men of Grand Bahama are getting ready!

In order to be Draft Eligible, a player must be evaluated during Evaluation Day.   There are two days left to be eligible for the Bahamas Youth Football 2007 season:   July 6 from 5pm-8pm or July 7 from 2pm-5pm at Grand Bahama Sports Complex.

Interested players are to fill out a Registration Card, with parent signature and turn into Cool 96 office or bring with them to the Evaluation.   Shorts, t-shirts and running shoes are required to be evaluated.   If you have football cleats, you may wear them for some of the evaluation drills.   Registration Cards are available through any Bahamas Youth Football Coach.   There are also registration cards available at the Evaluation.

All young men all eligible to participate in Bahamas Youth Football if they will be attending grades ninth through twelfth, and up to age eighteen in the fall 2007.   If player is not in school, player must have fulfilled requirements for graduation and have a General Certificate of Education (GCE) or its equivalent.   No player shall turn nineteen (19) before age control date:   September 1, 2007.
