November 11th marks Rembrance Day or Veteran's Day. Remembrance Day, also known as Veteran's Day, Poppy Day and Armistice Day is observed on November 11 around the world.

No words can adequately describe the sacrifice of men and women we honour today.

This video provides an opportunity to reflect on lives lost during war.

The poppy's significance to Remembrance Day is a result of Canadian John McCrae's poem In Flanders Fields.
