Reports are that on Saturday 25th May 2019 shortly after 1:00pm, police were called to Andros Drive, Hawksbill, where a male reported that while sitting in his vehicle, a male known to him and driving a light colored vehicle, fired a number of gunshots at him, hitting him to the chest area. EMS personnel were called to the scene and the victim was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was seen by doctor and is said to be listed in serious but stable condition...

An Eight Mile Rock resident is in police custody after he was arrested for a stabbing incident.

Reports are that on Friday 24th May 2019 shortly after 11:00pm, officers of the Mobile Division, while on mobile patrol in the Pine Dale, Eight Mile Rock area, discovered a male with stab wounds to the body near a business establishment. EMS Personnel were called to the scene and the male victim was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital where he is listed in serious, but stable condition...

Reports are that on Friday 17th May 2019 shortly  before 11:00am, an argument ensued between two males while in the Pigeon Peas community, when one of the males withdrew a handgun and shot the other male several times about the body before fleeing the scene. The male victim was taken by private vehicle to the Abaco Health Centre and is said to be listed in stable condition.

Police are actively investigating this matter...

RBPF: Grand Bahama police are investigating an alleged drowning that has left a male dead - May 15, 2019 - 10:40:01 AM

Reports are that on Tuesday 14th May 2019 shortly after 9:00pm, police were called to Portacall Drive, Bahama Terrace near the canal, where they discovered a white truck submerged under water. Officers of the Police Marine Section with assistance from a private vessel and crew, hoisted the vehicle out of water and recovered the body of a lifeless male. 

Investigation will continue into this matter, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death...

Reports are that on Tuesday 14th May 2019 shortly after 10:00pm, police in Abaco, while armed with a search warrant, went to a residence in Government Subdivision, Marsh Harbour, Abaco, were they discovered a quantity of suspected marijuana. Two males occupants were arrested and taken into police custody.

The estimated weight of the suspected marijuana is 1.6lbs with a street value of $1,600.00...
