Reports are that on Wednesday 5th June 2019 shortly after 10:00am, an armed culprit while in the Treasure Cay area, held up and robbed a female of her handbag that contain personal items before fleeing the area in a dark colored vehicle.

Officers of the Abaco District, acting on information proceeded to the Farm Road and Sand Bank area where they arrested two male suspects and recovered a dark colored vehicle and the victim’s handbag along with personal items...

Reports are that on Wednesday 5th June 2019 shortly after 3:00am, officers of the Fire Department were called to a home in the Emerald Bay area that was completely engulfed in flames. Officers extinguished the flames and discovered human remains in the ashes....

Reports are that on Monday 3rd June 2019 shortly before 11:00pm, officers of the Royal Bahamas Police Force and Immigration Department in collaboration and acting on information, proceeded  in police vessel to the canal area off Flamingo Lane situated off Swan Drive, where they boarded a blue and white fishing vessel and apprehended (4) Haitian nationals and (3) Brazilian nationals. A search was conducted of the vessel and officers uncovered 20lbs. of suspected marijuana...

Reports are that on Sunday 2nd June 2019 shortly before 3:00am, police were called to a resort on the island of Bimini where it was reported that a group of Mexican nationals all males, were involved in an altercation with a Dominican national (male). The Dominican national was reportedly beaten about the body. He was taken to the Bimini Clinic where he was seen by doctor and is listed in serious condition. He was later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention...

Reports are that on Saturday 25th May 2019 shortly before 9:00pm, police on the island of Abaco were called to the Marsh Harbour Health Clinic, where a male presented himself with a gunshot wound to the face. He reported that while in Murphy Town sitting in his vehicle, he was approached by a male known to him, who pointed a firearm in his direction, opened fire, hitting him in the face and fled. He was rushed to the Marsh Harbour Health Clinic via private vehicle and was seen by doctor who listed his injuries as serious, but stable. He was later airlifted to New Providence to seek further medical attention...
