TCI Top Model seeking Contestants, Fashion Models and Fashion Designers

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands  – The Search is on for the next fashion stars originating from the Turks and Caicos Islands! Organizers of the 2013 TCI Top Model Contest & Fashion Extravaganza are on the lookout for Contestants, Fashion Models and Fashion Designers for its upcoming themed event: Royele Couture: LUXE!

The TCI Top Model Contest & Fashion Extravaganza is an event where beauty, fashion and drama collide to create an evening of true opulence and glamour. This hotly anticipated event is expected be more extravagant than before, with a bevy of prizes, surprises and guest appearances. The most coveted prize for the 2013 TCI Top Model Contest winner is being named Digicel TCI Brand Ambassador for a year. Like the 2012 winner – Washanda Registre - she will appear in all local television, print and billboard advertising campaigns, as well as making appearances at Digicel TCI events throughout her reign.

Additionally, the TCI Top Model winner will also be a Cover Model and appear in an editorial spread for the 2013 Summer Times of the Islands magazine and have a profile page their sister publication – Destination: Turks & Caicos 2014. There in, she will be adorned in creations by up-and-coming local fashion and jewelry designers. This too, will give those designers that oomph they so need to get on the fashion ladder!

The Contestants, Models and Fashion Designers Search will take place in two locations on Saturday, January 12th, 2012. In Providenciales, it will be held the Culture and Arts Commission in Turtle Cove, Providenicales from 10am – 12 Noon. In Grand Turk, at the Victoria Public Library on Front Street from 10am to 11am.

ABOUT THE TCI TOP MODEL CONTEST & FASHION EXTRAVAGANZA is an event that is designed to give those persons residing in the Turks and Caicos Islands interested in careers in the fashion and creative industry an opportunity to the platform to debut and showcase their talent. With the hope that it will be a springboard to a career locally or abroad.


CONTESTANTS & MODEL SEARCH

Eligibility: The 2013 TCI Top Model Contest & Fashion Extravaganza Contestants and Models Search is OPEN females and males who meet all of the following:


Female requirement:

Potential Contestants must be age 16 to 22 as of May 1st 2013. ID required.

Models must be 16 and older on the date of your entry into the search.

Under 18 must have parent or guardian consent.

Must be 5’6” or taller without heels. Size 0 to 6, and swimsuit ready.

Must bring 3” – 4” heels. Wear Minimal make-up.

Hair must be pulled back into ponytail or tight bun.

Male requirement:

Must be 5’11” to 6’2”.
Must be 17 and older.
Waist 30” – 34”.
Suit Jacket size 38 - 40.

Must wear fitted clothes and physique swimsuit ready.

ALL Models bring photographs. They need not be professional pictures.
ALL Fashion Designers are required to bring samples of their work and or a portfolio folder.
