Guerrilla Warfare - Internationally acclaimed guerrilla marketing expert Ed Tate will be offering the business world the right weapons for effective marketing. The workshop is hosted by the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and the Bahamas Employers Confederation.

Nassau, Bahamas - Tough economic times call for tougher tactics. The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and The Bahamas Employers Confederation (BECon) are arming the local business world with low-cost guerrilla marketing tools during an interactive workshop on Thursday, November 19. The workshop will take place at the British Colonial Hilton from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The session will feature world-renowned guerrilla marketing guru Ed Tate.

"Regardless of the state of the economy, marketing your business effectively is vital and directly related to your business’s success," said Philip Simon, Executive Director of the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce. "This workshop will offer the essential tools to craft a sound marketing strategy that works for your particular business."

"Small and large businesses alike have applied the principles of guerrilla marketing because of its simplicity, common sense and proven record in action," said Tate. "One of the main reasons that businesses fail is lack of marketing insight; guerrilla marketing provides that insight."

General admission is $175 for the workshop; Chamber member pricing is $150. Seating is limited to 100 attendees. For additional information or registration, contact Shanda Lightbourne at 322-2145 or visit www.thebahamaschamber.com.

The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation are both non-profit, membership-based organisations with a combined membership of nearly 1000 members ranging from entrepreneurs to small businesses to large corporations. Both proactively serve as business advocates strengthening the business and economic climate in The Bahamas.
