Nassau, Bahamas - Scotiabank Bahamas has joined hands with The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Embassy to present the 6th Annual Business Development Conference. This year’s conference takes place at The British Colonial Hilton on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 under the theme Business Unusual: Creativity & Innovation.

Recognizing the integral contribution that small and medium sized businesses make to our economy, Scotiabank continues to offer products and services tailored to serve this market sector. The Bank’s Managing Director, Barry Malcolm, will join other local business leaders for a roundtable discussion addressing the challenges of doing business in The Bahamas, and for his part identify for existing and aspiring business owners alike, how the Bank’s structure and policies enable it to assist in the growth and development of their respective businesses.
