Rotaract Club of East Nassau welcomes the club’s new Leadership

July marked a new year for many around the world. Hundred of thousands of Rotaractors from Rotary and Rotaract alike welcomed the new month as a new year of service for the international organization. For years these service organizations have made a tremendous difference in the lives of all they have assisted through service and leadership both internationally and locally. Rotary’s network has expanded far and wide throughout the island and has created a passionate zeal for service.

On June 30, the Rotaract Club of East Nassau, along with it’s sponsor club, Rotary Club of East Nassau marked the ‘new year’ in grand style with, A Jacket and Rose changeover to commemorate the change in leadership within the district.  As the club’s 2017-2018 club president, Brock North  described his year of service, he recalled the undeniable joys of serving the community and leading such a passionate group. These are joys Past-President Brock is most excited to pass on to the 2018-2019 Rotaract Club of East Nassau President Ms. Cyd Ferguson.

As president, Cyd will serve as the club’s head of leadership and devise new ways to impact our community both here and abroad. She has made a special vow for the club to impact communities within the inner city and expand the members knowledge set in regards to professional development and training.

The Rotaract Club of East Nassau meets every 2nd and 4th Monday at 6:00pm at Smugglers Restaurant, Downtown and is open to all individuals between the ages of 18-30 looking to make a difference within their community and broaden their professional network. Join us this Monday, July 9th, 2018.
