CARICOM CORFOR members on fact-finding mission regarding TCI

Nassau, Bahamas - Foreign Ministers from CARICOM member states Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, Haiti and The Bahamas have embarked on a fact-finding mission about the status of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The committee which is chaired by Foreign Affairs and Immigration Minister the Hon. Fred Mitchell is scheduled to meet in Turks and Caicos with the Royal Governor, the Premier, the leadership of the Opposition Party and Civil Society between the 23rd and 27th of June 2013.

Opposition leader Cartwright Robinson met with committee members here in Nassau on Wednesday (19 June) at the British Colonial Hilton Hotel as she would be out of the country next week.
