The Ministry wishes to advise that Bahamian national, Mr. Clement J. Smith, Jr., was shot and succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, 13th November 2021 in Sidney, Ohio, United States of America. Mr. Smith was 21 years old.
According to the Sidney Police Department, investigations continue into the shooting death of Mr. Smith, which occurred at a residence where he was located.
The Ministry extends sincere condolences to Mr. Smith’s family, and to the Devils
Point Community in Cat Island.
