Nassau, The Bahamas - The Department of Labour has partnered with the management of Sandals to idenify hundreds of suitably qualified Bahamians to be hired by the end of November 2021 for the resort's opening in January 2022. Minister of Labour and Immigration the Hon. Keith Bell and Director of Labour Robert Farquharson addressed the press conference, October 28, to announce a Job Fair that will take place on Saturday, October 30, at the Department's headquarters at City Corporate Center, Rosetta Street, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sandals management team will be onsite to interview and fill approximately 200 vacancies at Sandals Royal Bahamian in New Providence and approximately 100 vacancies at Sandals Emerald Bay in Exuma. The National Training Agency and the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institution will be present at the job fair to sign up jobseekers wishing to enhance their skills.
