Nassau, The Bahamas - The Ministry of National Security's National
Neighborhood Watch Council (NNWC) “We Are One” National Campaign
announced their remaining December events, at a press conference at the
Ministry, December 11, 2020. Among those present were Superintendent
and NNWC National Coordinator Wilton Johnson; President of the Ridgeland
Park Community Association and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of
the NNWC / South Central "We Are One" Campaign Shelly Lewis; Stapledon
Gardens President Lakell Johnson; and Stapledon Gardens Vice President
and Co-Chair for Sponsorship of the "We Are One" Campaign Jouette Smith.
According to the Ministry, among the activities planned are: Saturday,
December 12th -- 2nd National Clean-up Day in partnership with the
Department of Environmental Health Services; Sunday, December 13th --
Church Service, Christ the King Anglican Church, Ridgeland Park, West;
Monday, December 14th -- ZNS Monday Morning “Wake Up Bahamas Show”, with
Hope Shellyann, to be broadcast live from the Grove, to include Central
and the inner-city communities; Wednesday, December 16th -- Drive-in
Night of Christmas caroling under the stars, with live performances by
law-enforcement pop bands and others; and Friday, December 18th – Grand
Finale (venue to be announced). Winners of various competitions will be
announced. The grand prize drawing will also take place, and there
will be light entertainment with Christmas and local music. The evening
