Freeport, Bahamas - The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) made a generous contribution to the Bahamas Red Cross Grand Bahama Centre last month to aid Hurricane Matthew victims and others in need across the island.
Back in October, the GBCC launched a relief drive just weeks after the storm, calling on the corporate community to donate essential items like nonperishable foods and toiletries.
Thanks to the response from PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce out of Dallas, Texas, the GBCC was able to present the Red Cross with over nine pallets of food items for families in need.
