Bahamian Scholarship Program launched by Elizabeth Constituency

Nassau, Bahamas - Hon. Ryan Pinder, MP Elizabeth is delighted to launch the Elizabeth Constituency Scholarship Program. As a part of the Elizabeth Constituency's Empowerment Platform, Minister Pinder has taken on a new initiative that is expected to empower and support Elizabeth's aspiring young professionals.   

The purpose of this program is to lend support to young people who have a desire to gain direct access to post-secondary education at Success Training College, The Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute (BTVI) or any other professional and vocational training institutes supported by the Scholarship Fund as determined by the Scholarship Committee. The program will provide annual scholarships to students who require the financial assistance, and it will aim to encourage academic excellence and recognize achievements of young Bahamians.   Interested applicants from the Elizabeth constituency for the scholarships opportunities at Success Training College are asked to contact the office at (242) 397-9909.  

Completed applications must be submitted by Wednesday September 4, 2013.   

Phase two of the Elizabeth Scholarship Program comprises of solicitation of community sponsors and contributions toward the Elizabeth Scholarship Fund for scholarships to BTVI and other tertiary education institutions.  Interested residents of the Elizabeth constituency are encouraged to send their expressions of interest in further scholarship initiatives to ryanforelizabeth@gmail.com
