Defence Headquarters, (RBDF): In enforcing the Commander Defence Force, Commodore Raymond King’s strategic objective of strengthening relationships with stakeholders and the community at large as a socially corporate citizen, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s Veterans Association teamed up with management and staff of Quality Home Center (QHC) on December 15, 2020, to donate a hefty supply of Christmas gifts to the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
On hand to receive the donations from Ms. Dianne Davis, Office Manager, and Ms. Francino Mullings, Store Manager, QHC was Commodore Raymond King. Also, accompanying him were Captain Shawn Adderley, RBDF Command Staff Officer for Strategy and Policy; Warrant Officer Prescola Fowler of the RBDF Veterans Affair Office; Staff of the RBDF Welfare section; and President of the Veterans Association, Chief Petty Officer (Retired) Harold Bosfield, and his committee members.
The gifts will be distributed to the children of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Veterans, during this festive season as part of ongoing efforts by the organization and the RBDF Veteran Association in fostering meaningful relationships with the community. Ms. Mullings, who presented the donations, was happy to be a part of this special occasion.

“It was a great pleasure to give to the Royal Bahamas Defence Force”, said Ms. Mullings. “They help with the safety and security throughout the entire country, and for this, it is the least we can do to show our appreciation for their services”.
“It is a joy to bring a smile to a young child during this holiday season, and the Officers and Marines along with members of the Welfare section and the Veterans Association”, said Commodore King. “While we provide border protection and security as it relates to transnational threats to our country, we are still about ensuring the welfare of our neighbors”.
