Nassau, Bahamas - In this week's episode of
A Mouth Full takes foodies on a
pizza tour! From cheesy toppings, to crunchy, bready crusts, meat,
mushrooms and veggies galore, this episode dives you into the wonderful
world of pizza and stops to three local pizzerias to get a mouth full of
their popular Italian pies!
Our host, Dre begins her journey at the
newly opened Wildfire Pizzeria in the Old Fort Plaza where one of the
owners, Peter Gilcud schools Dre on why their pizza is already so
popular. There she samples two of the menus hottest items: the Five Alarm Pizza and a pizza topped with duck!
From there it's a
short drive to Sandyport where Dre visits Spritz Restaurant and Bar to
sample their pie. She orders up a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and loves
the cheesiness of each slice. Sitting right on the water, the ambiance was the perfect pairing for her meal!
Just a few
blocks up the street is Cafe Milano, a small, trendy spot on busy West Bay Street. The owner there Natasha Farah suggests that Dre tries
the famous Tuscan chicken pizza which was "divine." That was
the final stop on her pizza food tour!
