Kamalamee Foundation Releases 2013 Commemorative Photo

Freeport, Bahamas – The Kamalamee Organization is proud to release its signature commemorative group photo of the 2013 honourees.  This year’s photo was taken at Nandana, a private resort and celebrity hotspot in West End, Grand Bahama. The sunset photo was taken by professional photographer and committee member, Lyndah Wells.  The organization will host a portrait unveiling cocktail reception at Sabor, Pelican Bay Hotel on Wednesday, October 16th where both 2012 and 2013 honourees will have their 8 foot-high portraits unveiled for public viewing.

The public is invited to attend and applaud the following Honours recipients: Donnie Knowles for Athletics; Rev. Havard Cooper for Business, Wellington Ferguson for Ecology; Dorothy Lightbourne for Education; D. K. Griffith for Design; Gloria McGlone for Fine Arts; Dr. John Clement for Healthcare; Joseph Darville for Humanitarianism; C. A. Smith for Political Science; and Rev. Dr. Ralph Russell for Religion.

This year, the Kamalamee Honours Concert will take place on October 27th at the Regency Theatre where friends, peers and entertainers will celebrate ten of the year’s most extraordinary individuals, whose collective profession has resulted in the economic growth of the island and country.
