Grand Bahama Island - PROTECT THE PROTECTORS - Entech Building Systems showed their support for the Royal Bahamas Police Force and donated a protective vest as part of Rotary Club GB Sunrise Protect the Protectors.

Greg Farrington, President of Entech Building Systems understands the importance of protecting our Police Force as he generously stepped up to the plate and made a donation to Rotary Club Of GB Sunrise for their Protect The Protector Campaign to purchase protective vests.
Its all part of Police Appreciation Week being celebrated June 30 – July 5th culminating on July 5th at the Rotary Club Of Grand Bahama Sunrise “

Rib Fest” at Seahorse Plaza from 12 – 6pm with entertainment by the Royal Bahamas Police Band and demonstrations by Royal Bahamas Police and Fire Departments.
The Rib tickets are being sold by members of The Rotary Club of GB Sunrise and Royal Bahamas Police Force for $12 for a delicious Rack of Ribs, Yams and Cole slaw. All of the proceeds of this event are to raise funds for purchasing protective vests for the Police force which are so desperately needed.
“These brave men and woman need the proper equipment to do their job to keep to keep our streets safe and we at Entech are happy to support this valuable Rotary program” said Greg Farrington President Of Entech Building Systems.
According to Rotary Club Of GB Sunrise President Tom Leeder “ The goal of this program is for Rotary and the Community to show appreciation to the men and women in uniform and to raise enough money to pay for 75 custom fitted protective vests. Earlier this year, an officer who was not wearing a vest was killed in a shooting. This was the call to action to
“Protect the Protectors.” The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce was the first to act and they have donated 23 vests that were custom sized and purchased. The GB Sunrise Club has planned an aggressive campaign to secure more vests for our local protectors and encourages the public to attend the Rib Fest on July 5th.
