TheBahamasWeekly.com welcomes Quinn Russell, with his new column, The Bahamian Traveller
|
The Bahamas Weekly is pleased to announce our NEW columnist, Quinn Russell, who will be showing us the world through his column,
The Bahamian Traveller.
Born in St Paul, Minnesota to a Nassauvian father and a Louisianan mother, Quinn's family moved to Freeport Grand, Bahama when he was only two months. He grew up there and attended Sunland Baptist Academy. He is proud of the cultural aspects of his homeland with its traditional foods, customs, architectural heritage, and the joy of simplistic living which he enjoyed during his childhood, where he loved to explore caves, hidden beaches, mangroves, and the underwater world.
His curious nature sparked a hunger to get off-island and explore the world. Through his world travels he had the desire to share what he was experiencing, and share it he did! Quinn founded TravellersBazaar.com in 2010, a website which focuses on luxury travel, architecture, art, style, people, and all that is beautiful around the globe.
Traveller’s Bazaar already has a core following in Western Europe, The Middle East, California & The Eastern Seaboard; readers as far as French Polynesia. Travel is Quinn’s passion, there is no place too far or too extreme that he won’t go and has readers love to follow along. His Facebook page has over 11,000 followers.
How has this young Bahamian man been able to travel and do so much? Quinn responds, "I followed my passion, it was a burning desire that sometimes kept me up at night and invaded my dreams. I saw myself on top of the Eiffel Tower looking out to the city of Paris. I was sure I would visit the base of Burj Khalifa and marvel at its height, I awaited my invitation to the private suites of former Monégasque palaces. I envisioned this future relentlessly."
Quinn intends to spread his passion for travel and explorations to the readers of The Bahamas Weekly. "I want young Bahamians, to know anything is possible, all it takes is desire and faith, and you can go to the ends of the earth if you are relentless in perfecting your God-given talents. Be extraordinary, be different, be courageous, and in time all your dreams and hard work will come to fruition.’
We welcome Quinn Russell,
The Bahamian Traveller!
