Trans Island Airways is assisting and write:
Looking to assist with the hurricane relief efforts? The two most
important items right now are funds and 40' containers. Trans Island
Airways along with many other Bahamian
and Foreign Air Operators have committed over 12 planes to the recovery
efforts. Odyssey Aviation has offered fuel at a drastically reduced rate
for airplanes involved and Bahama Fast Ferries have donated a vessel
capable of taking 11 containers of relief supplies to the stricken
islands. Fuel is not cheap and any funds that can be contributed to help
keep all of these planes in the air would be greatly appreciated!
Please call us at 1-242-362-4006 if you can provide any assistance!
