Nassau, New Providence -- The Miss Earth Bahamas 2016 pageant finale took place on August 27th and taking the crown was Miss Turquoise,
Candisha Rolle.
Miss Rolle will go on to compete in Miss Earth 2016 in the Philippines, the "3rd largest and 2nd most participated international beauty pageant on Earth." Miss Earth is all about 'beauty with a purpose' and Miss Rolle's platform is air pollution, and she featured the Nassau city dump fires in her presentation video for the pageant.
Runner-up was Miss Pink Opal, Devontae Pinder who will compete in Miss
International 2016.
