Marissa Capron of St. Anne's High School received the third place prize of $1,000 in the senior division of the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association's (FFCA) 2019 Children's Poster Contest. As part of her prize, her school also received $1,000. The annual competition again invited students from schools around the Caribbean and Latin America to submit entries. Last year's’ theme “Solutions For Ocean Pollution” sought to promote and stimulate environmental awareness among Caribbean students, while effectively educating our younger generation on the importance of environmental protection.
