Nassau, Bahamas - After 3 consecutive, and successful, years of taking young Bahamian talent to the world’s industry professionals including,  agents, producers, scouts and managers via the International Talent Showcase (“ITS”), PTG Marketing & Modeling Agency (PTG) now prepares for auditions for the 2014 event.

As the 2013 contingent prepares to travel to Florida, in less than 11 weeks, for ITS, Mrs. Pia Rolle, President of PTG is excited about starting even earlier to prepare the 2014 particpants.  “We’ve worked hard for the past 5 months and will continue to prepare up to July when we leave.  Though this is the smallest group we’ve had to date, the participants are definitely some of the most talented I’ve ever worked with. As usual, I am extremely excited about our participation at ITS 2013!”

On June 1st, an international talent scout will arrive in Nassau to conduct these 2014. PTG serves as the host agency and is the Bahamas’ mother agent for ITS.  PTG has been in existence since 1999 and currently represents 68 models and talent both locally & internationally.

The ITS scout will be in Nassau looking for models, singers, actors and dancers who want to have the opportunity to showcase their talent to the world!  Some former participants of ITS, through PTG, have received representation contracts from agencies in New York, Canada, Florida and Philadephia.

The June 1st, 2013 audition will be held at Mario’s Family Bowling & Entertainment Palace, Tonique Williams-Darling Highway at 2pm SHARP!  Hopefuls are encouraged to arrive on time as auditions will close after a certain time.  Males and females are welcome and those under 18 years are asked to have a parent or guardian accompany them to the audition.

On audition day, interested persons are encouraged to arrive early to register, dress to impress and bring a recent photograph of yourself.  Dancers must bring music and a music player.

PTG would like to thank the following partners for their continued support in making this programme a success.  Mario’s Family Bowling & Entertainment Palace, Lee Callendar, Shanta Kerr (PTG), Monalisa Fowler (PTG), Sidda Communications, Marion Carter (Professional Travel), Mitzi Adderley Thompson (Executive Printers),  Brynda Knowles (The Fashion Group), Desiree Chisholm (BQute Salon), Barry Williams Photography, and all of the family, sponsors and friends who support our local talent.

Mrs. Rolle added that, “More corporate sponsorship of the individual talent would go a long way in assisting in making many of their dreams a reality.  However, for those in corporate Bahamas who have supported the talent over the years in moving closer to the realization of their dreams, I personally say a heartfelt thank you!  It has been discouraging for some bright, talented, young Bahamian talent who had to drop out of the programme after months of training and preparation due to lack of finances to get to Florida. Months of training and preparation is offered free of charge by PTG, but obviously, there is a cost to get to Florida and perform.  Though it costs our agency (PTG) to offer the 6 month development training and preparation, our belief in the strong talent and the love of what we do keeps us doing this year after year.  The rewards are gained when we are able to successfully impact young lives and help them make their dreams in the industry a reality.  PTG brings in the best in the industry to work with our talent, because we want them to be the best when they travel to Florida for the showcase. Annually, the PTG Bahamas group brings back multiple awards and top placement from ITS, in addition to contract signing opportunities and offers.”
