Scholarships in Japan Available to Bahamians

The Embassy of Japan is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
(MEXT) has continued to offer the Research (Graduate) Scholarship to Bahamians for the academic year 2014 which is tenable only in Japan. The scholarships cover tuition fees, flights to and from Japan and provide a monthly allowance.

Born on or after April 2, 1979

Be a university graduate

18 or 24 months

 

Japanese language ability is highly valued at the selection stage although it is not a requirement. Successful applicants must be willing to study the Japanese language before and after arriving in Japan.  

Examinations and interviews will be conducted in The Bahamas in June, 2013.

application forms for the scholarships. Supporting documents must be submitted with application. The deadline for

application is June 7, 2013. Applications should be sent to the Embassy using the address below. Only shortlisted

candidates will be contacted.
