Police on the island of Eleuthera are investigation a shooting
incident Monday, 3rd February 2020, which has left two adult males with
injuries.
According to reports, shortly
after 9:00pm, the men were sitting in a yard in the settlement of Green
Castle, when they were approached by an armed man who shot them before
running away. Both men were airlifted to New Providence for further
medical attention. They are listed in stable condition.

Swift in the vicinity of Davis Creek, Central Andros, when she lost
control of her vehicle, crashed into a utility pole and bushes. She
sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Fresh Creek

passenger of a cruise ship, was discovered unresponsive, floating in

in Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, while swimming with her two grandsons in
waters on Gilliam Bay Beach, Green Turtle Cay, was reportedly caught in a
rip current. Persons nearby rescued the two boys and the victim who was
brought to shore. CPR was administered to the female by local

officers in the Abaco District, acting on information, went to the
Pigeon Pea Village area, just off Crockett Drive, where they searched an
abandoned building and discovered an 18 inch barrel Remington .22
rifle.

Reports are that on Wednesday 5th June 2019 shortly after 10:00am,
an armed culprit while in the Treasure Cay area, held up and robbed a
female of her handbag that contain personal items before fleeing the
area in a dark colored vehicle.

Sand Bank area where they arrested two male suspects and recovered a

Reports are that on Sunday 2nd June 2019 shortly before 3:00am, police
were called to a resort on the island of Bimini where it was reported
that a group of Mexican nationals all males, were involved in an
altercation with a Dominican national (male). The Dominican national was
reportedly beaten about the body. He was taken to the Bimini Clinic
where he was seen by doctor and is listed in serious condition. He was
later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention...

Two males are in police custody after they were found in possession of dangerous drugs in Abaco
Reports
are that on Tuesday 28th May 2019 shortly after 7:00pm, a team of
officers, acting on information, went to a residence in Spring City,
where they arrested two males for possession of dangerous drugs and
