Nassau police make23 arrests - Recover shotgun on Rock Crusher Road

23 ARRESTED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS

Nassau, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Mobile Division saturation patrols intended to reduce crime and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities reaped the following results during the past 24 hours:

One (1) arrest for Threats of Death
One (1) arrest for Assault
One (1) arrest for Assault with a Deadly Weapon
One (1) arrest for Stealing
One (1) arrest for Possession of counterfeit Currency
Two (2) arrests for Causing Damage and Threats of Death
Two (2) arrests for Breach of the Bail Act
Four (4) arrests for Breach of the Immigration Act
Ten (10) arrests for Outstanding Court Warrants

MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS RECOVER FIREARM

According to reports, shortly before 1:00pm on Friday 16th May 2014, Officers from the Mobile Division acting on intelligence went to an area behind a building on Rock Crusher Road, where they uncovered a shotgun.
