Nassau Police seek public help solving 2 armed robberies

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are investigating two separate arm robberies that occurred on Tuesday 27th May 2014.

In the first incident, shortly after 11:00am, a man was about to make a deposit at a bank in the Madeira Shopping Plaza, when two men armed with a handgun robbed him of an undetermined amount of cash and sped off in a white Honda Accord vehicle.

In the second incident, shortly after 11:00pm, a man and a woman was at East Bay Street in the area of Harbour Bay, when a man armed with a handgun robbed them of a cell phone and cash before fleeing on foot.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE are also appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
