Police on the island of New Providence are seeking the public’s
assistance in identifying and locating several male suspects believed to
be responsible for two separate Armed Robberies which occurred on
Thursday 2nd July 2020. In the first incident, according to reports,
shortly after 4:00am, a male while walking along Wulff Road in the
vicinity of Market Street, was accosted by (6) males one of whom was
armed with a cutlass robbed him of his wallet. Investigation into this
matter continues...

to reports, shortly after 3:00pm, a male was swimming on Goodmans Bay
along with others, when he began to tire and ingest sea water. One of
his companions managed to assist him to the shoreline and performed
cardiopulmonary resuscitation...

while patrolling Fredrick Street observed a vehicle that aroused their

The efforts of the men and women of the Royal Bahamas Police Force
resulted in the removal of an illegal firearm from the Street of New
Providence on Friday 27TH June 2020.
In the
first incident, shortly before 10:00am. Officers from the Operations
Unit acting on information proceeded to the junction of West Street and
Dorsette Alley, where they conducted a search of a bushy area and
recovered a .40 Glock 27 pistol with (5) unfired round of ammunition. No
arrest was made during this incident...
