Grand Bahama Island - Selling real estate today is very different from years ago. The internet has catapulted our ability to view land and homes from across the globe and even purchase without seeing the property or home if we so choose.
Earlier this year The Bahamas Weekly was called in to assist in a most interesting video project.
Keith Jervis, International Sales Director for Shoreline (KST Investments Ltd.) was trying to close a deal with potential buyers who had visited Shoreline earlier in the year. The clients, now back home with some months passed, were losing interest and perspective on the 'would be' amazing ocean view home to be constructed on spec if they decided to go forward with the sale.
Keith's idea was to show the clients their 'future view' by video across the internet, and called in The Bahamas Weekly to help create that opportunity.
Within approximately 24 hours, two videos were setup, shot, uploaded and delivered, thus showing the extent of service that Shoreline will go to to please a client.
The Mission:
To help sell a view for a 1.5 million dollar home in one of the best gated communities in The Bahamas. Call time: 6pm Sunday night, April 27
The Challenge:
The home is not yet built. Potential owners live in Nevada.
The Plan:
Video the view from an adjacent lot across from where the home will be. Use scaffolding or go up in a cherry picker to create a view from the main deck area and second floor deck area. View is out to sea. Upload to YouTube and send to clients.
The AM Shoot (April 28):
9am shoot at home adjacent. Owners there let The Bahamas Weekly into their living room and deck to shoot. Thank you!
Video transfer to Nevada via YouTube/Email: delivered at 3pm
The PM Shoot (April 28):
3:30pm Four of us enter a cherry picker bucket to go up to video and take pictures from mocked lower deck view, and up to mocked second deck view.
Video transfer to Nevada via YouTube/Email: delivered 8:30pm.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Clients view at 9pm (all same day) and agree to purchase. Break out the champagne!
