Bahamas' Shaunae Miller came in first with a huge lead in the 400m in Lausanne, Switzerland in the 9th Diamond League meet on July 9th.
Miller finished with a time of 49.92. It's just 45 days before the IAAF World Championship in Beijing and she pulled off a personal best.
"I thank God and I feel really blessed," Miller told The Tribune. "I'm so happy to be able to run under 50 seconds finally. The competition was harsh and it was windy, but I had one goal in mind and I made it."
Coming second was Sanya Richards-Ross of the United States, who finished in a time of 51.12 and then Jamaica's Novlene Williams-Mills with a time of 51.15.
