Bahamas Sports Tourism and Bahamas National Sports Development are justified in celebrating two World Records at the Relays!

It is ironic that the first Record was made by the Women's Team from Africa..the other was driven home by the Caribbean.

Kenya and Jamaica burned up the track at the Thomas A.Robinson National Stadium,Bahamas.

The athletes speak to the charm, hospitality and energy of the Bahamian hosts and spectators.

The Bahamas'4x400m Men's Team, led by Chris Brown, made it quite clear, that they are to be reckoned with..they won their heat in dramatic and blazing fashion.

Rt.Hon.Perry G.Christie,Prime Minister, could be heard saying."It is worth it,the World is focused on us,on our Youth,Tourism,National Development,Organizational Skills and Hospitality".

What an Opening Ceremony!
Today will be a barn burner..
Don't miss it!
